11/4/2009The Railroaders have announced they have hired a new manager for the 2010 season. Clayton (Clay) Kuklick is currently completing his masters degree at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA. and in his second season at GCSU. Clay was a catcher in college at West Virginia University and Kutztown University, graduating in 2005. After college he played professionally for the Elmira Pioneers and New Jersey Jackels in the Canadian-American League from 2005 thru 2007. Last summer, Clay managed the Quakertown Blazers in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ABCL). He was also the assistant coach for the Little Falls Minors of the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) in 2008. In addition to coaching in summer leagues, Clay has been an assistant coach at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (2008) and a volunteer assistant coach at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington (2007).
The Railroaders' management received resumes from several very good candidates, but ultimately selected Kuklick for his playing and coaching experience. Fulton looks forward to Clay's leadership of the Railroaders to another championship in 2010. 11/3/2009We try to maintain contact with our ex-players for as long as possible. Sometimes we lose touch.
